Elliot is a Restoration Biologist with Freshwater

Conservation Canada. Elliot has been involved with the FCC

since October 2012, when he was first hired as a fish

rescue technician, capturing fish in irrigation canals

around southwestern Alberta and returning them to their

home rivers. Born and raised in Calgary, Elliot loves fish,

especially native fish, as well as working with volunteers

and stewardship groups to implement habitat

rehabilitation projects throughout Western Canada.

Outside of work, Elliot enjoys playing dodgeball and river

snorkelling, and has now crawled around in creeks on

three continents, with a goal to snorkel them all.
