The Crowsnest Heritage Driving Route is a self-guided tour through historic towns in Alberta’s Crowsnest Pass. You can download a map and a guide to explore the route at the Crowsnest Heritage Driving Route.
The route includes stops in several historic communities, each with downloadable maps and stories:
Brochures for historic self-guided tours are available at the Bellevue Mine, Frank Slide Interpretive Centre, Crowsnest Pass Public Art Gallery, and Crowsnest Museum during regular hours, as well as at other historic sites and kiosks.
The Frank Slide Interpretive Centre has four levels of interactive exhibits highlighting the 1903 Frank Slide, the Hillcrest Mine Disaster, and the community of Crowsnest Pass. Two award-winning audio-visual presentations run daily, and a talented interpretive staff offers numerous programs, hikes, and presentations throughout the summer months.

Located within the Coleman National Historic Site, the museum is home to over 60,000 artifacts, with approximately 25,000 on display in the six themed galleries and numerous exhibits and displays.

Throw on a miner's helmet and experience life as an underground coal miner firsthand.
