After meeting at the Gazebo Park, the group will head to Burmis Lake or an alternative ( use Google Maps for details). Enjoy a reasonably gentle 60-90-minute stroll and enjoy our area's natural beauty and excellent birds. It's a great opportunity to purchase pottery from local artists at reasonable prices, speak to members about the club's history, see pottery demos, learn about classes offered, and volunteer operations of the club. Come see what passionate members can do with clay!

There is something for everyone at the Crowsnest Country Market in the historic Flumerfelt Park, land donated to the miners and their families back in 1910. Live music, food vendors, 20+ vendor tables featuring a variety of local artisan products. Kids can enjoy Water Park while adults browse the tables.

Train whistles will echo through Blairmore Lions Train Park on Saturday as the miniature train provides free rides along a five-inch gauge track. Guests may ride as many times as they like between 12 pm and 4 pm and are welcome to purchase a burger to support the Blairmore Lions Club.

Hillcrest Mines Cemetery
Cost: Free
Join your host, Herald, on this unique guided tour of the Hillcrest Cemetery, the resting place for most men killed in the 1914 Hillcrest Mine Disaster. It's a rare chance to delve into our local history.
The tour, not just a walk, includes a theatrical component by Monica Field.
Wear weather-appropriate clothing and footwear, and meet in the cemetery parking lot.
